Royal Caribbean kicked off the countdown to a new era of family vacations, officially welcoming Star of the Seas* into the family. After nearly two years of construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland, the keys to the next revolutionary Icon Class ship were officially handed over to Royal Caribbean just a few weeks ahead of its August debut in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

Royal Caribbean is setting both the stage and the table with a closer look at its all-encompassing lineup of show-stopping entertainment and unmatched dining experiences to shine on Star of the Seas.

Floating on air, Royal Caribbean International and thousands of workers celebrated the new Star of the Seas floating one step closer to its highly anticipated debut.

From thrills like the fastest and tallest waterslides to 40-plus ways to dine and drink combined with adventures in idyllic destinations like the cruise line’s Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, the next combination of the best of every vacation sets the stage for everyone to make memories from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

Star’s debut lineup is now open on Royal Caribbean’s website, and Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members have special access to book today in advance of the official opening on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
